What

This website shows evaluation and review of small air quality sensors.

Why

New small air quality sensors are being made every year, and are being used to measure air quality by many organisations and individuals.
Small sensors can have many advantages over traditional analysers, often having lower costs as well as being easier to place e.g. in congested urban centers.
The main current disadvantage is not being sure of the uncertainty of the measurements. This is vital in deciding what use can be made of the instrument e.g. to see whether any changes in air quality seen as a result of policy interventions are statistically significant.

How

This website helps you use small sensors by allowing you to:

  • View tests and comments to decide what small sensor to use or how to interpret existing data.
  • Comment on sensors e.g. if you have experience of using one.
  • Upload co location tests and see the uncertainty during the test.
